The agenda included presenting the audited 2022-2023 financial statements, the election and re-election of Directors, and a report on activities over the past year.
In summary, “The past year at La Maison des Collines (MCD) has been full of ups and downs. Running a palliative care home at a time of labour shortages and rising living costs is no easy task. Our past year has been productive and full of successes, but it has also brought its share of challenges,” reported the Board Chair, Amanda Mayer. Read more in our 2022-2023 Annual Report.
Incoming and Outgoing Directors
We would like to extend a warm welcome to our incoming Board Directors – Julie Charron, Caryl Green, Dre Valérie Joannisse, Maxime Nickner and Roch Bouliane, and heartfelt thanks to the outgoing Directors – Daniel Lafrenière, Pierre Ritchie et Brigit Viens (vice-présidente). We would like to give our most sincere gratitude to our outgoing Chair, Amanda Mayer, for leading the Board and La Maison des Collines through the ups and downs and for getting us to a place of strength and stability, both within the Board, Management, and the surrounding team. Last but not least, an enthusiastic welcome to the new Chair of the Board, Denis Joannisse, whose mandate has been extended by one additional year.
