La MDC Hosts its AGM 2022

La Maison des Collines held its Annual General Meeting on June 27th, followed by coffee and dessert. What a great evening spent with our member volunteers and donors. The Mayor of Cantley, Mr. David Gomez and Councillor Mr. Jean-Charles Lalonde as well as Mrs. Caryl Green, former Mayor of the Municipality of Chelsea, joined us for this gathering event. We are pleased to introduce our new board of directors: Mr. Denis Joannisse, outgoing president, Ms. Amanda Mayer, president, Ms. Brigit Viens, vice-president, Mr. Daniel Lafrenière, president of finance and audit, and our directors Mr. Pierre Ritchie, Dr. Gary Satenstein and Ms. Marie-Claude Côté.
During this evening, we also thanked Mr. Claude Mondoux for his many years as a volunteer on the Board of Directors.
We also took the opportunity to pay tribute to Dr. David Ian Gold, founder of La Maison des Collines. Dr. Gold is a pillar of La Maison des Collines. He put his heart and soul into making the MDC a reality. Dr. Gold is also our medical director, so we have the privilege of working with him regularly. A plaque will be permanently installed at La MDC as a testament to his dedication and commitment. With heartfelt thanks to Dr. Gold.
