Julie Filion joins La Maison des Collines as our new Executive Director

The Board of Directors of La Maison des Collines is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Filion as our new Executive Director. Julie joined the team on December 9, 2019.
Julie holds a D.E.C. in nursing and began her career as a nurse at St-Luc Hospital in Montreal, before joining the nursing team at the Gatineau Hospital, where she worked as a team leader in trauma and specialized care, including end-of-life care. After five years as a nurse, she embarked on a career in insurance and obtained her diploma as a Chartered Insurance Professional. Since 1999 she has been working as an insurance office manager where her responsibilities involved the development, growth and community involvement of her office. She has always known how to surround herself with a high-performing team and is committed to helping her team members to thrive.
Julie is very active in her local community – she is currently a member L’Association des professionnels, industriels et commerçants d’Aylmer, as well as the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce.
Julie’s experience, knowledge and skills will be valuable assets in the next phase of the evolution of La Maison des Collines. Welcome to the team, Julie!
The Board of Directors would like to recognize Suzanne Fitzback for her invaluable work as Acting Executive Director of La Maison des Collines. It allowed us to take the final step and open our doors last April. We are eternally grateful to her for showing us the way forward.
