Joe Hiscott Resource for Accompaniment and Support
With a background in the healing arts of various cultures and non-medical traditions, Joe brings a diverse set of skills and experience to his work at Maison des Collines. Joe is a Graduate and Faculty of Beyond Yonder Virtual School for Community Deathcaring in Canada and has hosted/facilitated several Death Cafés in Wakefield. He was a nurse’s aide volunteer since the opening of Maison des Collines in April 2019 before joining the interdisciplinary staff team in July 2020. In his current professional capacity as Chaoyi Fanhuan Qigong (CFQ) Instructor/Therapist, Joe provides tools to help people take their health and healing into their own hands and has worked in this regard with several clients and their families through the dying process. Joe lives on a little homestead in Rupert among the cedar trees and chickadees.
