Our team of healthcare professionals, volunteers, and support staff work to provide comfort and dignity to residents and their loved ones.

Admission

  • Reception of any person at the end of their life whose prognosis is less than 3 months.

  • No criteria related to the type of diagnosis or cultural, social or gender origin.

  • Priority given to people living in Outaouais, with possibility of admission for those whose relatives live in Outaouais.

Costs

  • Accommodation, care, and meals are provided free of charge.

  • An interdisciplinary team ensures residents receive care and comfort 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Personal medications and personal items remain the responsibility of the resident.

During the stay

  • Flexible schedule: visits and meals are not restricted by set hours.

  • Services are tailored to each resident's individual needs.

  • Each resident enjoys a private room that promotes privacy, comfort, and the presence of loved ones.

  • Access to common areas, including the dining room, terrace, gazebo, and family lounge.

  • Families may bring their loved one's favourite foods, according to their needs and wishes.

  • Accommodation is available for loved ones.

  • Pets are welcome.

  • Complimentary wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) is available.

  • Parking is available for visitors.

Personalized support

  • Emotional, spiritual, and compassionate support is available based on the needs of each resident and their loved ones.

  • Spiritual care can be provided according to each person's values, beliefs, and wishes.

  • La Maison des Collines remains present for loved ones and can offer support during the period following a death.

Admission procedure

  1. Application completed by a healthcare professional.

  2. Evaluation of the file by our team.

  3. Registration on the waiting list if necessary.

  4. Confirmation of admission and organization of arrival.

To bring

  • Clothing and personal effects (hygiene, comfort, etc.).

  • Personal medication.
